About Us
First State Roof Cleaning was started in the early 2000s by a gentleman named Glenn Evans. He was a leader in the industry in the Lewes area. He continued to improve his techniques with constant training. It was at one of these seminars he met current owner, Dan Wanamaker.
Dan Wanamaker had a need for a product to clean his own roof. He had followed First State’s Youtube videos and by chance, met Glenn in Florida at a training session.
Dan formed Riley Roof Wash in Pennsylvania in 2012. Glenn was a huge mentor to Dan over the years, but in 2015, due to health reasons, Glenn had to step away from the business. Dan and Robin saw an opportunity to acquire First State Roof Cleaning in 2016 and have been growing the business ever since.
Dan and Robin each share the same beliefs when it comes to taking care of their customers. “We treat every home as if it was our own.” This is one reason why they maintain a 5 STAR google rating with virtually no advertising.
